Caregiving, Dementia and Incontinence: A course for carers

Logo of National Agent Research Institute

National Ageing Research Institute (NARI) proudly announces the launch of an innovative online course 'Caregiving, Dementia and Incontinence'.

Many people living with dementia experience difficulties with bladder and/or bowel function and control.

Continence issues significantly impact the quality of life for the person and their carer.

The free online course has been developed with the input of people living with dementia, carers, and health professionals.

It provides information about the physical and psychosocial aspects of toileting, promoting continence, and managing incontinence.

No prior experience or qualifications are required to participate.

This free course will run twice in 2022. The first course will open on 1 August, and be repeated on 17 October 2022.
